The Alabama-Mississippi (ALMS) District of Optimist international invites local junior golfers to compete in the upcoming ALMS District Qualifying Tournaments. Tournament dates and location are as follows:

Monday and Tuesday, June 3rd & 4, 2019

The tournament is for boys and girls ages 10 through 18.  The tournament will be divided into ages groups (divisions) as follows:

Boys: 10-11    Boys: 12-13      Boys: 14-15   Boys: 16-18

Girls: 10-12     Girls: 13-14      Girls: 15-18

Top young competitors can qualify to move on to compete in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships, July 16th -31st 2019, at the PGA Doral Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida.  The top qualifier in each age division will be eligible to advance to the International Tournament from the ALMS District Qualifying Tournament.  The ALMS District will cover all expenses for the top boy and girl qualifiers.
